Hipodromo de Santa Rita, Maracaibo, Venezuela

Hipodromo de Santa Rita is a thoroughbred racecourse in Santa Rita, Zulia, near to Maracaibo in Venezuela. The racecourse was opened by President Jaime Lusinchi in August 1989.

Hipodrome de Santa Rita replaced the previously demolished Limpia racecourse in Maracaibo. The racecourse operates two days per week but popularity has diminished since TV coverage ceased in 2006.
