Hipodromo Nacional de Valencia, Venezuela

Hipodromo Nacional de Valencia is a thoroughbred racecourse in Carabobo, Valencia, Venezuela. It is an oval dirt tack with two grandstands which can accommodate 18,000 seated people and took more than a decade to complete.

Construction began at Hipodromo Nacional de Valancia in 1971. Despite not yet being completed, racing began at the racecourse in December 1978 and continued through to February the following year. Work on the racecourse began again in 1981 and it was officially opened by former President of the Republic, Dr. Luis Herrera Campins, with the inaugural meeting taking place on 25th March 1983.

Racing takes place at Hipodromo Nacional de Valencia mostly on Thursdays and Fridays and are usually evening meetings.
